I don’t think an audio podcast is well suited to the intricacies of technical tips.

I’d vote for higher level news from the community. Sure high level expert discussion, but maybe more importantly surveys of innovations in the flex community – how people are innovating, open source libraries as the pop up. What’s new and exciting in, to pick a random example, the Actionscript physics engine.

As I’m currently developing an open source flex project myself, I find the flex blogging community invaluable, and could see a podcast adding further value to the community and the development of the community as a whole.

I’m also going to get my adobe news from adobe – with labs and everything else on their site, I think they communicate very very well, and there’s no need to duplicate it. What I am interested in is community reaction to what comes out of adobe. The blogging community covers this well, but perhpas a podcast might be a good place to reflect on community reaction as it develops, as opposed to up to the minute replication of news from adobe.

So basically I’d vote for a kind of “flex community news”.
